Default stroking a 302

Is it possible to be able to stroke your car with stock pistons??i want to do a bottom end i know i need bearings piston rings etc... do i need to change pistons??do they sell kits without pistons???i think stroking the motor means changing the length the pistons travel by changing the crank and/or rods...so is it possible?

yea a 325 (i think) or a 342

most of the time you have to bore the motor out to clean up the cylinder walls hence 306's. so i doubt u will get to keep your stock pistons

almost 170k but doesnt knock or ping or overheat, i want to pull out the 302
change the bearings piston rings and theres a rebuild kit for that but i was wondering since my stock pistons are ok if i could just invest in a stroker kit that has what i need without spending more on boring otherwise id consider a 351w swap...

with a 170 on the clock i bet it has ring groves. boring a motor is inexpensive. 12-18 a cyclinder from what i have seen.

it will cost you much more to fugg with the 302 than it will be to pick up a 351.
