how can i tell if i have a cobra block?

i recently purchased a 1993 5.0 302 cobra block, and i just want to make sure its a cobra block. it has XXX in the lifter valley; the person who sold it to me told me this means its a cobra. anyone know anything?

They lied.....the "cobra" block = HO block.....same casting number and specs....hope you didn't pay a "premium" for that......

The only differences between a 93 Cobra and the GT engines are the intake, heads, and cam. of course the hp was different to, The Cobra was 235 and the GT was 225 (93 was 205). Pistons and crank are the same.

The newer 4.6 mod motors are the ones with differences.
