RE: Hurst Billet/Plus Shifter help
You need to adjust it properly, there's two bolt one on the front and on the back of the shifter base, you have to remove the boot.
First you have to put it in 3rd gear make sure its in gear and all the way up. Then adjust the bolt DO NOT LET IT TOUCH THE SHIFTER. leave it about ( | | ) that much space between the shifter and the adjusted bolt, leave that little bit of play there. Tighten up the other end of the bolt so it won't move.
Then, put the car in 4th gear, and do the same.
Make sure you got ( | | ) about that much space between the shifter and the bolt head, so it doesn't touch when you go all the way up to 3rd or come down to 4th, the space is usually about 1/8 of an inch, or alittle less than 1/4 of an inch. the rest should fall right into place.
make sure you dpress the cluth check move it around in 1st tru Reverse and make sub the shifter is not hitting the bolt in any of the gears, and you good to go.
