I just got my 1992 lx coupe. I went to pick it up at the shipping yard and the Ignition tumbler turns all the way around. Looked under the steering colum and when i went to check the wires i think i pulled the ignition switch plug out and all the pins fell out. The plug is attached to the steering colum. The car is a 4cylinder car before. really need your help. Thats the only way to get the car home. Or if some one knows how to get car started without the ignition please let me know. This su*ks just got hte car and already having trouble. thank you
Sorry i really dont know. The only thing i would know what to do is buy a new ignition plug and wire it in. Maybe try a salvage yard if you just need the plug.
I am really trying to figure out the plug that fell apart was it the ignition switch. .if you are looking at the steering column from the right side about 4-5 inches down towards the floor after the ignition key tumbler there is a gray plug with 2 screws on the steering column. That plug inside feel apart . when i tried pluging it back in i must have grounded and lights in the dash started to light up. Does anybody have an exploded view of the steering column ?that might help
