Well I don't want to purchase GT40P's and go through all that trouble of switching my headers/spark plugs...

Should I just purchase the AFR 165's in my case then?

find a pre 97 explorer (gt40 not p) then you dont have to get new headers.

Any Thumper head will be high quality. But the E7s he markets are not good bang for the buck at all. I bought a set knowing this from the beginning. I was only wanting a sleeper and was willing to pay extra to keep it that way. But there are better ways of spending that money over his E7s. Just be honest with your goals from the beginning. They are great heads, but not worth the money if you're on a budget.
