Default Cam with AFR's

Would this cam work well with the AFR 165cc heads, and 1.7 roller rockers?

itll work but its not the best choice. i know that the stage 1 cam (with 1.6) works great with afr 165's but not sure with 1.7 check for clearances, you should be fine

I would totally recommend looking at other peoples setups before you decide on an h/c/i combo

Are you saying that you would not be able to add a S/C'er later down the road with 1.7's?

no thats not what hes saying at all. what he is saying is why buy a p*ssy little cam and add 1.7 rockers when you can run a good cam and 1.6 rockers and then later down the road, if you want more lift, you can switch to 1.7's.

Oh, I see. The pistons I am buying are below:

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=TRW-L2488F30

They appear to be cut to allow more valve clearence. Any recommendations on a good cam? I am just looking to get the best bang for the buck. I have done a lot of reading, but it seems like there are just so many different combos. I just want to get about 400HP, and most of the things I ee are AFR heads and 1.7 rockers.
