Default Rear Quarter Window Remedy?

Does anyone know of anything elso to do to fix the rubber molding on the outside of the window besides replacing the whole windows themselves?

the molding is part of the window, as i understand it.

maybe a trim shop can do something, but i doubt it

Ya you are right about them being one piece. I read somewhere to use epoxy and that might help. Hope I can find something somewhere. Its not a big deal on getting new ones but to put them in is a hassle the whole inside needs to come out in order to get to them. Got a quote for 800 dollars for a window place to do them. Thats crazy cash for windows.

Look around and youll find repair kits that fit over your existing trim. Some say they stick out a bit too much for thier tastes tho. They come with adhesive and instructions.

Or if they arent too bad clean the ones you have and repaint them. Fill any low spots first of course.

I used filler primer and just painted them. They look brand new for a fraction of the cost.

Black. i like it! Cant see the 1/4s too well tho. Im working on some touchups at the moment, 1/4 windows are starting to wear. If fixing dont help i may just buy those molding kits.

Up close they definetely look like covers, but driving by or at a quick glance they look good...mine were painted and looked terrible...
