Default transmission fluid question

im planning on changing my transmission fluid and dont have my onwers manual i dont know how much and wut kind of transmission fluid i need. i have a 90 mustang gt 5.0

i used 3 or 4 quarts i cant remeber but i use mobile synthetic..imo its the best stuff

I've found it depends on what syncro's you have. If you have brass, gear lube. The other, darker kind (spacing the name right now), i've ran ATF and had no problems at all with either.
