Default 351-302-289

I was wondering if the 351W and the 302 and 289 Were all the same block. I was thinking of building a motor for my 1994 Mustang with a 351W block GT40 heads from a 302 and the Cobra upper lower intake. Would this work??

No a 302 and 351 2 different engines.
also belive a 302 lower intake will not wrk on a 351 have to buy a new lower.
Gt 40's would wrk on a 351 but are already restrictive on a 302 much less a 351.
I think the cobra intake will bolt up to the NEW lower ull have to buy for the 351 but now uve got a bottled up 351w.

Also not real sure on ur model stang but ull need to buy the swap kit from summit or jegs comes with headers/oil pan/oil pump/motor mountsand a few other things to get it to fit. So ull be spending alot on a motor that is starving for more of everything.

cant use an intake off a 302 for a 351, the distance from head to head is wider, there are spacers for the swap but im told they work like crap and create to many leaks.

I would like to be able to outrun the stock mustangs/camaros and definately the stock ricers but I'm not looking for a 10second car either. So somewhere inbetween there. Any sugestions would be really appreciated
