TURBO. Makes more mid range torque/power and same peak power as the centrifugal supercharger kits out there today (read Hot Rod mag's article on the different types of boost, turbo demolished all with boost at 9 psi (or right in the neighborhood) for all set ups).

Turbo lag isn't anything to worry about. It only exists when someone puts a part in there won't work well with the rest of the parts, like an oversized turbo. Granted it will give more peak torque/power and greater mid range once spooled up, but it takes forever.

I did a search for mustang turbo kits a while back and got a LOT of results. I'm sure you can do the same.

Turbos are the way to go. It actually puts less strain on your engine, as it doesn't run off a belt, which in turn means less lost hp. I read that somewhere, but like jeep said, turbo lag is a thing of the past. So go for it.

Even the most efficient superchargers are losing approximately 40% power whereas a turbo will only lose between 5% to 15% of its power due to inefficiencies. To put this into street numbers, a 500HP setup will be about 550HP on the bottom end vs. about 700HP on the bottom end with an efficient supercharger. Less bottom end build up and less wear and tear to produce the same numbers. If you do look into turbos, ceramic bearings are the way to go. Self contained cooling/oiling so if it does take a crap, it won't contaminate the entire engine. Turbonetics makes some nice ones. And remember, turbo timer is a must.

greddi or turbonetics for turbo, vortech s-trim for a more stock motor...or novi 2000 for a little bigger set-up.i know people that have turbos and superchargers, i dont really seem to hear either complaining lol, the supercharged one runs mid 10's and the turbo car runs mid 11's...thats all about other set-up tho...u should gain around 75-110 HP from either depending on wut motor u have.possibly more if u get an intercooler/aftercoolerand cobra's gain more than GT's etc...hope this helps
