Default smog pump

As of now I dont have the time to go ahead and do a whole delete, but is it alright to run without the piping to the exhaust and just plug up where the pipe would connect to the hoses (under the inlet hose and throttle body)? Thanks guys

You might as well go ahead and take the stuff out. It tok me less than an hour to remove the pump and cap off the lines. Took me longer to get the shorter belt.

I removed my smog pump and all teh lines. Theres a couple of thing you have to do, first off youll need to drill a new holes for the tensioner set pin. If you dont when you put the shorter belt on it itll rub on itself and leave you nice little rubber shavings all over the place. You have to rotate counterclockwise about an inch. The bracket is aluminum so its really soft, the drill will go through it like a hot knife through butter.
If you took out the A/C and left the A/C power sterring bracket youll need like a 71.5" belt. If youve got an UD crank pulley itll be 69.5"

I just removed my smog pump and used an 84.5" belt and it works fine.

I did the short belt on my car and have had no problems at all, it's 100% mint.

Yeah that was pretty much my issue, i didnt know how long it would take me to get that belt and i have work this week. The other stuff looks prettty easy to get out of there- but what about the piping coming from the h pipe? Does that need to get plugged as well?

Yes that will need to be plugged as well. The previous owner of my car just used a bolt stuck inside the tube and it sealed perfectly

my 91 took a 73.5 inch belt with no ac or smog pump... could probably use a 72.5. the tensioner is kinda close to the edge... also i never had to do that tensioner mod so i am not sure why you people are doing that mod anyways. must just be for the 94-95 cars
