Default Need Help like Now!!! firing help

got a 83 mustang gt just replaced head gaskets can't get it to cranked ive checked everything but when i took the plugs an wires off didnt label them checked my book an it doesn't help tried the ones that are in the book wont start any1 know diff parterns ?

aren't these the one that are in the haynes book? i left the book at my house im using my friends computer to find out cuz i used the ones in the book it wont be any other orders?

no thats a 89 lol this one i did is a 83 i can't get her to startan im allmost possitive its the firing order thought maybe its different from the newer 1's

you might be 180 out on the timing take out the first spark plug and put a 15/16 rachet and socket on the crank shaft pulley and put your finger over the hole where the spark plug was if you turn the rachet and the hole pushes your finger out then the timing is good but if it doesn't keep turning it until it does. then when it starts blowing your finger out keep turning it until it stops and right when you feel it stop pushing you should be a tdc then check your distributor to see where the spin thing is. I know that was long tell me if you understanded all that LOL

yea i understand tdc it take the cap off an check the rotor to point to #1 piston lol right
