Check your trans fluid level/condition and get your trans adjusted if it feels like its shifting too early.
Im not smart with engine mod specs but with the AOD you need a shift kit, higher stall convertor, gears, and a good trans cooler.

RE: 93 mustang mods!!!
i have your same car too. i say get the 3.73s and finish off exhaust w/ h-pipe
Nextthing u should do is try to reduce weight (remove back seat, ac delete, and anything else like moving your battery to the trunk)
Next, get your self some subframe connectors and torque box plates, especially since its a convertible to help with flex.
Next, do minor suspension like shocks and lower springs.
Then, for an automatic its all about your tranny-----> get a shift kit (transgo/ baumaun), get a 3000 rpm converter, get a tranny cooler, u might also wanna look into other mods like a servo upgrade/od band upgrade/clutch pac upgrade.
check out clickclickracing.com for a website dedicated to auto stangs, very kool mods there like how to change 1-d-od to 1-2-3/4

^^^^^^ as much as i hate to fuel his ego i would have to say that his statement is true from who i talked to. i got in a conversations with a guy who drove a 92 with tfs2 cam and performer heads making 271rwhp. with skinnies on the front and MTs on the rear ran 12.77 all day long. his car had a ton of suspention work tho
