Alrite. I gta to get the dash decal though, mine got stolen. And i got bout 5 grand to spend on the '86 gt (thats aside from the price of it which is $1500, i think i got another good deal, lol), so wat is the best kind of power package if there are any to go with (headers, full exhaust, gears, intake, MAF). Thnks

there not that special there are plenty of other rare mustangs out there that will fetch alot more!!! as for the roller cam no roller cams were in mustangs until 1985 if you got one in your 84 gt 350 ha ha ha somebody sold you a box of trix!!! with a replaced engine I'd check casting numbers on the block and look for evidence of the pecker tracks were someone has been.

as for these GT350's i have owned mine for 3 years i think i would know if its rare or not. and yes they are rare they are actually more rare than the 93 cobra

because on the cobra there were actaul upgrades to it..not stripes or a plaque
now a McLAREN mustnag is ugly but is getting $$$$$

yeah i know what your saying but even with classic mustangs some if they had a special stripe kit they are worth more than a normal mustang. but yes other than the stripe kit they are just a normal mustang gt. although i really do think ford snuck the roller cam in them because they were produced really late in the 84 modle year anywhere from april till the very begining of june of 84

Yeah i just asked that same question on the forum here as well...I own a 84 GT350 5.0 Convertible....5 speed with the SVO steering wheel...I recently had the engine broken down and discovered that it had the Roller cam as well....

With the car i now own...My mother is the orginal owner...She won this car in the summer of 84...and no one has touched it since...I'm now the owner and this car has the roller cam in it....She told me...that the guy at the dealership...to where she had it ship...told her this car came stock with 200 horsepower....but it doesn't have dual exhaust..but it has the roller cam.

well then tear it apart and look!! bet ya' it don't!! Yeah the guy who sold me my 85 gt told me it ran but just a little rough may need a rebuild[]ha yeah a rebuild ...right.....it had 4 pistons with holes in it and 2 cracked cylinder. wouldn't even start!!!![:@] people will say the darndest things to get you to buy something!!

That's how i found it out...I had the motor torn down and it was discovered there....No Joke man....I'm gonna get a camera and try to get this on film. If ford really did this to mine...I wonder how many other GT350's are out there with this..
