Default RPM's rise when putting into gear?? 5 speed!
Why on earth would my RPM's shoot up when putting tranny into gear.....mind you I'm still holding the clutch pedal to the floor, all I do is put the tranny into first and its like I goosed the throttle??? Friggin weird, anybody have a clue??

neutral safety switch in the tranny tells the ECM to open the IAC slightly...

helps keep people from stalling

Vacuum does not have an e at the end.. It's spelled right.
