It costs WAY less for a GOOD intake and carb setup than it does for a comprable EFI setup. Like im talkin thousands less.

+1, the only reason I'm going with a carb is that I am an electrical dummy. I'm bad with wiring and not all too savvy with gadgets, aside from my PS2 and my laptop... also, my '87 motor was lacking the EFI intake and the Edelbrock performer I got was only an extra 50 bucks... used, but in perfect condition.[8D]
