Looking at your H/C/I plans, you can probably get away with 24# injectors for that. They would put you at roughly an 80% duty cycle at 300rwhp and around 85ish or so percent DC at 320rwhp. If you plan on making more rwhp before the turbo, then I'd jump up to 30# injectors.

As far as the turbo goes, you'll need some rather large injectors unless you plan on keeping the numbers low. You can use 42# injectors up to about 425 rwhp on a forced induction engine. That will put you into the 80s with the duty cycle again.

However, if you bumped it up to 60# injectors, then you could push around 450rwhp with 60# injectors and only be around 60% DC. And that gives you room to grow if you wanted to increase the boost. Of course, by the time you get there you are in dangerous territory as far as the stock block itself goes.

i wanna hit 450 hp when i get to the turbos i know 500hp is pretty much sending my engine to the grave yard. i actually want to keep it intact before i swap it out to a 351.. i was thinking 30# injectors after h/c/i but i didnt wanna over do it. so that makes me feel better than i can do 30# and still have room for a little more performance.

btw, what are your feelings on the typhoon intake? i do see some people with it but dont hear many reviews, also i called professional products, they dont have flow charts or spec sheets, they just send me a dyno sheet on a stock 5.0 mustang just the typhoon intake was the mod and he gained 14hp for 300 bucks.

30# injectors will be just fine and like you said, they will leave you some room for improvement.

As far as the typhoon intake, those that have it seem to like it. I believe luckythirteen13 has that intake right now. I think I may have some specs / charts / comparisons but they're saved on my computer at home. I'm at work now and I don't have access to them.

if you are thinking about a 351w swap i would be carefull what you buy. alot of things that are good for a 302 just aren't good with a 351w. you could save yourself alot of money by not having to buy things twice. just something to think about before you mod the 302 i think you would be better off doing the swap first rather then buying parts for the 302.

not my plans, i want something long term. i'll mod the 302 and the reason for keeping it in tact is if i want to do another build on another 5.0 i know that not all 302 part transfer for, fully aware.
