Intake install finished wont start??
hey guys just finished installing my holley systemaxxII intake/ NEW 1.7 roller rockers/ NEW pushrods(Wanted hardend ones, bought from jegs guy said i needed longer ones so i got them????)/ NEW lifters. Changed the oil, topped off the antifreeze and tried to start it. Well somethings wrong..... the starter sounds really funky like its barely spinning or bound, the motor itself is making a pop or glug every 2 seconds or so when holding the ignition. I took a wrench and put it on the crankshaft bolt and spun the motor by hand and its spinning freely?? any idea whats wrong? only thing i can possibly think of is the pushrods or the distributor got rotated somehow? help plZZZZZZ! Thanks

RE: Intake install finished wont start??
well i dont have compression gauge right now so i cant do that 2nite but the guy at jegs said i needed longer pushrods so he got me the Crane Cams pushrods that add +.117 to the stock length any idea if this was right? i also got the crane cams Energizer hydraulic roller 1.7 RR any ideas?
And also lets say i did screw up the dizzy. As i said i didnt actually remove the whole thing we just loosend it so we could rotate it and remove the lower intake, when u install everything again it only goes 1 way b/c of the ignition module on the dizzy, and i also marked were it was at previously, But if the dizzy did happen to get rotated 360 degrees i guess it would have to be would this effect it?
