Default Front Struts

Can anyone give me some info on changing them on a 94 gt, was told something about needing special tools for the plates up top. I know i have to get the jack underneath the control arm and unbolt it by the spindle and abs bracket off, just not sure how i take it all out through the top. Thanks

So i just take off all the nuts on the top including the middle one holding the strut and that (sleeve) which looks like a metal plate just slides right off? Do i just attach that sleeve and nut back on the new one? and im done with that or is there alignment issues

You don't even have to unbolt the strut mount at the top, you only have to unbolt the center bolt that holds the strut. The strut bolt is pretty hard to do with hand tools, you will more then likely need an impact gun.

as long as youre not changing ride height or the location of the caster/camber plates, i think the alignment should be the same.
