How many miles?

You could get away with just buying a new crush ring if you don't damage the pinion bearing when removing them. I would also replace the pinion seal and axle seals.

yes you will need an installation kit.....like mentioned above you'll need a cruch collar and the reason you need the installation kit is because it comes with all the necessary shims to set pinion depth and back lash which is changed when gears are installed your stock shims are not enough so you'll need an install kit with at the very least shims

Summit has a kit that has richmond gears, gear lube, and richmond installation kit for 413.95? Is that gonna be the best way to go?

Like mentioned a new crush sleeve is mandatory, chances are you will need shims too. At your mileage I wouldn't worry about the bearings or races but give them a close inspection when you tear it down.Another good point previously mentioned was changing out the axle seals and pinion seal, I would also change out the axle bearings while you are in there, hadone go out 2K miles after I put my gears in and had to take it all apart again[:'(]

Sound a little high to me. Get some Ford Racing gears( http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku)

and this install kit ( http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku)

not a bad price if you want all richmond parts that's what I did....but piece together a kit and you can get a slight ly lower price.I paid close to that for everything but I also rebuilt my rear end at the same time so I bought the deluxe kit so to answer your question I'd say probably so..... good luck with the install 3.73 are a good all around choice.
