Default Idling problem

Alright, when I fire up the car in the morning in the garage it idles fine, after letting it sit at work outside for 8 hrs ill fire it up and it wants to die, so If I give it gas it'll stay running then after a few minutes it runs fine. Im puzzled[&:]

had the same issue, i changed my IAC & turned my idle up, because when its cold when you crank it up all cars idle higher, but once the motors warm the idler drops more, turn up the idle a bit, and change your IAC, or clean the one on there. mine did that and when i would press my clutch in it would kill only when it was warmed up. that was my issue.

Mine does the opposite...idles like Sh*t in the morning...but runs great at lunchtime/after work....

Gotta love that Mustang idle

Yea i would def clean, or replacethe IAC.. Cause mine didnt idle too good at first.. Once i cleaned that it was a lot better.. And if it still has that problem, like Ecstasy saidturn up the idle.. Hope it works for ya and good luck..

I cleaned my IAC...it was SPOTLESS, Brand new MAF...reset base idle...TPS at .98....Fuel Pressure at 39...it still idles like SH*t in the morning....

Change the IAC first. It's cheap and easy. It's the culprit of many a rough Stang idle.

how would I go about checking it, the iac is clean but still the original from ford, newer tps set at .99

when it idles bad unplug your iac and see if it makes a difference
