Default build or buy a motor

Ford Motorsports short block with pro-topline alum heads. turn key motor with only ~10k miles on it over 2 years. had a blower on it and made 516rwhp. motor still in car going to look at it asap.

OR

Build a probe rotating assembly 306 with ported gt40ps with an e-cam.

What's wrong with a stroker? Buying a used motor is fine as long as you can eitherhear it run, buy it from a known source, or the seller has proper documentation to back up his claims.

It is easier on the pocketbook and mind if you build it yourself! At least you know exactly what you got! plus, the hands on experience will let you become one with your car Grasshopper
