how hard would it be to retrofit a keyless entry Key fob from a newer stang into an '86 fox?

or do they sell a kit on the aftermarket

I have seen door poppers, but I dont wanna shave my door handles

does it unlock the doors from the lil key thing? I think it would be a nifty idea to have a modern convinence on an old car like that... wonder if I could lift the remote and mechanisim from a wrecked sn95, new edge or S197?

I just installed mine. I bought in autostart brand remote locks/remote entry. Cost me like $80. But in order ot install it you have to have some sort of electrical experience. I am quite goo d with electrical stuff but there was only so much i could do. Because the packages are universal the instructions aren't always that great and sometimes you need extra parts like relays. I was able to wire most of it up then i brought it into a shop to get the last bit done. And now it works great

My brother's old Neon had an aftermarket keyless entry system that worked pretty well.
Ive been thinking about doing it to my Mustang but thats not a priority right now.
