are you possitive that everything is hooked up? are you accidently installing the maf backwards?

did you reset the computer after putting it in?

Yeah, we reset the computer because we thought maybe the MAF sensor needed to readjust itself. No go. We are 100% sure that everything is hooked up. I can guarantee that the wires are in the right firing order, they're all plugged in securely, the MAF sensor is plugged in correctly, and all that.

First person that I'm going to have to agree with. 'Cause, DAMN, we can hear the engine sucking in some air. It could be that he only has 19lbs injectors, and he's getting more air than the injectors can keep up with.

With the CAI, your not "adding" anymore air to the engine, your just getting it there faster. You dont to need to upgrade your fuel system in any way for a CAI.

def agree. you kno how much you can do to a 5.0 before you touch the injectors? a simple CAI will not create the need for 24#ers or a larger pump sorry dude

are you positive that each of the clamps and hose connections are tight and proper?
you tell us that this car will not start, but yet you say you can hear more suction, simply by spinning the motor?
i'm gonna guess that you accidently folded the rubber sleeve connecting it to the TB, and you have a good inch wide vacuum leak right there, creating the noise you hear, and causing it to not start.

Even with a vacuum leak, it should still start...
