Default Long Tube VS Shorty

I ordered a set of bbk shorty ceramic headers and my friend also has a set of barly used bbk long tube ceramic headers that i could buy for fairly cheep. which route should i go?

On most cars, you'll see a little more low-end torque.
This is a real good thing if you have an automatic trans.
IMHO, I'd take the long tubes over the shorty's anytime no matter what trans I had.
I've always thought of the shorty's as a convience item........

Power. If you build your engine strong yu dont want shortys holding you back. They sound better to. But are more of a pain to install, bit it is worth it. I am sure most will agree with the long tubes.

plus one i would take LTs over shorties unless for some reason i know i wouldnt have the equipment to install the LTs... tehy are more time consuming and fit tighter... often generate a little more heat.... but they sound better i think... and they will gain a larger max hp and tq numbers and they will own form 3500rpms on up.... shorts are more of a ez do thing... they dont sound bad dont get me wrong there... and they are sometimes cheaper... but lts will provide more hp if done rite... as in you have a engine that will create enough back pressure with them on

Long tubes are illegal in some states....if you are trying to stay legal....then look into it....

If not, then don't look back....LONG TUBES All THE WAY!!!
