Default Anyone Ever Used These Lifter Supports, Never Seen Them

These are a Ford part and came off a Gt-40X crate engine. I never noticed them, I haven't been under the hood of my parts car for 6 months, went to grab something and found these. They weren't on my engine.

It must be something new that fords using to save costs. I don't think they will cause a problem but the old setup has been known to work forever.

Those are off a explorer 302. I guess they would work, ButI would find some HO supports. They would be better suited for racing and hard driving purposes.

That's the "new" style of roller lifter link bar hold downs. Needless to say I went with the "old" style that as someone stated, has been known to work forever. I'd rather have metal holding my link bars down than plastic
