You should try to get an X pipe instead of H, but 3" will be fine.

If your running 11:1 compression or higher dumps are not a good idea. I cut my pipes about 3 in. past my mufflers. When i had turndowns it pretty much sandblasted the underside of car. But with the compression and cam with duration @.050 is 246/259 and 588/622 lift that contributed to the sandblasting effect. If your running low compression and smaller duaration cam, the turndowns may be alright.

dumps are just a little piecs of say 90 degree elbow right off the muffler. under the car.

TAPOUT: why do you think i should get a x pipe instead of this h pipe??
