KB Supercharger?
I am going to save up money for a supercharger in the spring of 08, i have been looking at prochargers and then discovered Kenne Bell supercharger, just woundered what you guys thought about the two, i like how the KB looks andsounds but dont know that much about them, they are both about the same but the KB is cheaper. so any comments or info would be great. Also i am not looking for a high boost just at ether 6 or 9psi.

RE: KB Supercharger?
I got 50 hp on my otherwise stock except for exhaust 94 5.0 on 6 psi. Plan on going to 9 or 10 after i do the heads and get better head gaskets in. They dont make as high as dyno numbers as centros. But i got mine for what it is, instant power and torque. I got great torque numbers 330 peak and stays above 300 from 2500 to 5000. From 190 hp at the wheels to 240. Over 200 hp from 3000 to 6000. Only drawback on the KB is no real way of intercooling unless you use methanol injection.

RE: KB Supercharger?
you would be better off getting an intercooled Vortech setup.
the procharger places the inlet tube right over your driver side headers.... so your always sucking in hot air.
a intercooled vortech wont do that

RE: KB Supercharger?
A lot of what type of forced induction you use depends on your setup, compression, cam, gears etc etc. Turbo or positive displacment superchargers with low gears will lead to no traction on the street and so on and so forth. IT depends on your setup and what you want out of it
