Default 351 Heads on a 302
does anyone have any experience with 351 heads on a .030 over 302? standard stroke for now. this is a carburated engine, just curious for inputs?

69-70 351w heads were better, and thats a good swap - but anything later and the heads are gonna be the identical to the 302 heads from teh same year (worthless)

Is the casting the same with valve and spring differences or is there uncorrectable differences in runners and ports.

my stang has 351 heads and it deffinately breaths better but now headers are 3 times as much!

I've seen it in print that C9 or D0 casting 351W heads are slmont the same as GT40's.
Those old heads have to be getting rare...........

apparently you have no clue what you ware talking about.... externally, 351w heads are identical to 302 heads... port locations, etc
