Default Studs and gaskets

I'm tired of dealing with exhaustbolts. I'm either getting studs or locking header bolts. Which are most un-likely to loosen up? Also, which is better, stainless or chromemoly, as far as header bolts go? I'm also looking for a nice header gasket, I like the copper ones and but they're pricey. I absolutely don't want the cheapocompressed fiber ones. They make a few other gaskets that claim that they are good for forming to warped flanges and such, but which really are the best (besides copper)?

Felpros are the best IMO, but I cannot remember which kind

as for locking header bolts, ask Adder, I think he runs those, but I cannot remember where he got them...

i used the felpro gasket from advanced auto and it fixed my exhaust leak (warped mac headers). i was told the soft aluminum percy's gaskets are the best but they are a bit pricey from ebay.

Stage 8 locking bolts it is. I guess I just need to pick a header gasket then and get to work!

stay away from the pleated metal/fiber gaskets, but you can use solid fiber with some high temp permatex coated on both sides of the gasket and it will NOT leak. also, if you wanna make your header bolts lock without shelling out the cash, take the bolts and drill small holes thru the heads of them. then tie them together in pairs using thin stainless wire.

not headers pictured, but this is what im talking about

free ftw? i think yes

I'm missing a headerbolt, I'm just going to get a new locking set.
