somebody please tell me what is wrong!!
Ok here it is...after a H/C/I swap, 42lb injector, 255 pump, boost pipe, 80MM C&L massair meter my car was make 374hp to the wheels on a chip dyno tune and running 6lbs of boost on my paxton blower....the car ran great....havent touched it and about 2 months later the car is now running pig rich...so rich that i would have to floor it to start to car and it would let my rev over 4800rpms...so i advanced my timing by 2degrees and that allowed me to rev out to my normal 5500 rpms...just kinda seems a little sluggish....so i put new FR 9mm wires and MSD cap and rotor and a smaller pulley to reach 8lbs and it pulls good but it just seems sluggish as hell.......so is it possible for the Dyno tune to have gone bad?>
SO SLUGGISH that tonight i ran a stock 99 Trans am from 2nd- the end of 4th and i only came out about 1 car ahead......He says that at the track his best time was a 13.5
SOMEBODY THAT KNOW ABOUT TUNING I NEED SOME ADVISE!!!!!

Something I heard about Dyno tunes...pleaseschool meif I am wrong
When they burn the chip, it is a definite setting based on the conditions of that day. If you change location, altitude, the chip will not adjust like the stock computer would....
So the manual settings of the chip would not change...but if other conditionshave, the old tune on the chipmay not work well with them.
I would think that a change in weather, dirty MAF, bad O2 sensors...all can have an effect on it

what i am going to do i think is call up the place that "dyno tuned" my car in Pottstown, PA...Performance Specialties....( i will never go back again) and see if this situation holds any water on maybe having it retuned for free of cost .....becuase the way i look at it it was a complete waste of 650 bucks for a tune that only lastest 2 months....THAT IS TOTAL BS
