Thats usually a sign of some dead cylinders. Check your compression first.

sounds like it is mis firein but iv checked and played with the timmin/firein order 1k times!!! grrr.. its really startin to get old..... now the motor was a H.O but now has hyd.flat tap cam lifters pushrods.... would that change my firein order.. i know th H.O's are 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 non h.o's 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

could i have the fuel lines backwards?? i have the pressure line run to the longer fuel rail( there 2 on the pass side, one is the full leanth of the man. thats the"longer" one)

Yes your firing order should now be the non-ho firing order. Also, when you change the firing order, your injector firing order will need to be changed as well. Either switch to carburetor, or change your injector harness around. I dont know of anyone changing the harness around, so I dont know how it'll perform...
