Whats first sub-connectors or driveshaft loop
Whats first sub-connectors or driveshaft loop, For the loop i have to take out half of the carpet and the seat,to bolt it in... and for the subframe connectors i have to bolt them on the seat and then weld them to the subframe. could it be possible for me to weld the connectors first this saturday and next week the safety loop? do you think that once the connectors are welded inplace and i take the seat off to install the driveshaft loop it will somehow mess with the seat hole alignment? I wouldnt think so but I needsomeones inputs thanks.

Sub connectors a great first addition to any Stang. Bolted to the seats and welded to the frame are the way to go. Im not sure about the loop. Most Stangs ive seen with a loop had new holes drilled into the floor and braced with steel plates on both sides. You could slip the ends of the loop under the sub connector and bolt it in. I dont know if thats the right way tho if its a strip only car, im sure they got rules on where and how to put stuff. I wouldnt worry about the seat alignment unless you make the holes bigger than they are now.

How fast is your car. Drive shaft loop is for safety only when running the track. To be required to run a loop you would have to have an engine like mine . Unless you have a built block there is no need for one, I am just assuming you dont, correctme if i'm wrong. But the subframe connectors are a must if you drive hard even if you are stock. Make sure you weld them instead of bolting them up.

The driveshaft loop is required to meet the NHRA safety rules if the car is running 13.99 and faster on slicks or 13.00 and faster on street tires.

I am going to get a driveshaft loop too. I already have my subframe connectors welded on, but from what I was looking at, it doesn't have anything to do with the subframe connectors, so no worries
here are the ones I will probably end up getting:
