x pipe or h pipe

i got a 87 5.0 with the of course flowmasters im having a shop put on my jbl or jba headers something like that (gift) and i was just going to have them fab me up an h pipe or x pipe which would i want

im running right now the 40 series dual exhaust flowmasters cut off the cat's ran straight pipes from there then a h pipe back to the stainless tips i love the sound . sounds mean and agressive

ugh here, the x pipe will give you a higher pitched noise somewhat of a european sports car (kind of), H pipe is more of the old classic hotrod low grumbling throaty sound.
