Default Brainbox help

It looks like I am going to have to replace the brain in my wife's 91 5.0 convertible. The only problem I am running into is I dont know exactly where it is located so I can remove it. I feel kinda stupid on this one considering how many of these things I have owned but this is the first brain problem I have had with them. Can someone tell me where to find it so I can pull it and get the numbers from it?

what seems to be the issue with the car... do you have a previous thread you can refer me to? It might not be an ECM issue

yeah... I think we all need to replace our girlfriends/wives brain box.... they all seem to have a major malfunction, maybe there is a recall on them.

Okay I found the box but now am having a heckuva time getting it out. What do you use to get that connector to let it go.

The problem with the car is intermittently starts and shuts off going down the road after about 10 miles. I replaced distributor, plugs, plug wires to eliminate that problem. When you turn on the key you hear the fuel pump running but it never stops it just keeps whining.

Sounds like maybe the fuel pump relay or the hose that goes from the fuel pump to the pickup has a whole in it.
