Default 331 Stroker

Hey guys,
Im lookin at buyin a Foxbody with a 331 stroker motor, auto tranny, 03/04 Cobra IRS rear end

The guy says the car runs 12's-my question is How much hp approximately would this car be pushin out??

what 12's? high,mid,low? 12 flat or 12.99?
331 well built with supporting mods, 350rwhp isnt that uncommon. atleast 325rwhp anyways.

Somewhere between 300-700hp. You can't guess just because you know the size of it.

And why would you want a car with IRS? I hope you're getting it cheap.

I wanna say high 12's

It deff doesnt have 700-ive been in a 03 Procharged Cobra running 585hp and it was ****ing fast
This car was no where close to that

It rele didnt have a rough idle but it wasnt smooth either

True as that may be, you will hate yourself in the long run should you decide to track that thing on a regular basis. I know I know the Cobra folks are going to throw a fit, well tough, IRS belongs in road racing, not drag-strip.

I'm sure it does on a road course but once you get into the 10 sec range snap crackle pop with the axles.....I have a few friends with the 03 cobras and irs rears and even with the super duty axles they've broken them drag racing

Yea the most hp id be putting in that car would be around 450-500
Also im just lookin to make a badass streetcar to take to the track every once in a while
