ive never had dynomax either but i had an 89 5.0 with the mac off road h pipe with the flowmaster 40 series and it was definately very deep and loud .. i loved it lol now i have a 93 5.0 with the bassani cat and mac mufflers <car came like that> and its not at all the same .. i mean its gets loud but not till after 3000 rpm .. i definately prefer the hpipe with the flowmaster 40s ..

ORIGINAL: FASTBLACK

ORIGINAL: sab24711

leave cats and take mufflers out stright pipes
Only if you want it to sound like a truck. It will run and sound better with mufflers
Ha, that's funny because my cousin has an '84 GT with T-tops (made to look like an 87-93, with the cheese gradder taillights)...he has straight pipes with a 5.0 truck engine in it. It's REALLY loud.

Well not ALL dyno max mufflers are quiet... My first set up on my car was Mac long tubes with mac O/R H-pipe and 2 1/2 inch tails with Dynomax race bullets. (similar to SLP lm1 or magnapacks) and let me tell you.. that thing was loud. But then i switched to 40's and they give it a nice deep tone. love it. The dynomax mufflers were just too raspy.
