Default GETTING RID OF SMOG PUMP?
i've decided to get rid of the smogpump on my 94 5.0and was wondering if i could get some tips and advice from someone that has done this before.

it kicks on and off and when it does you can hear it drag the motor down.

Bernie's right....the pump doesn't cut on and off...it just pumps air....

any guess on what what might cause that if its not the a/c? while at idle you can hear something click and when it does thatsomething puts drag on the motor and im sure its not the ac. ( I dont know any thing about smog pumpso that was my next guess after the a/c

My car is doin the same thing but so bad it can kill the car also the bearing are goin out in the pump itself so mine might just be farther dead
