There is a rattle under the valve cover on the passenger side only. Could it possible be a lifter or rocker arm?

could be either i will have to see the video but if its a ticking sound that goes awayb with higher reving then its prolly a collapsed lifter especially if its not as noticable cold and then gets worse as the motor warms up.

Sounds like a lifter acting up, add some marvel mystery oil to the engine oil, run it like that for a few hundred miles and change the oil. I had the same problem on my high mileage engine and it took care of the problem almost immediately.

well mine is not a high mileage engine. it has maybe a max of 20k-30k miles on it. The lifters I believe were new at the time.

I'm assuming aftermarket rockers? Is there enough clearance between the rocker and fill tube area. I found mine just lightly tapping mine a long time ago and had to go back in and grind more off. I also found that it caused my pushrod to be bent by a hair.
