Default RE: RTV question

ORIGINAL: jagman454

So hypothetically lets say i'm short one bolt off of an exhaust header i'm installing, So I have one bolt on the exhaust port tube but one is missing, if I make sure I get a good RTV seal going on would the missing bolt cause a problem?
youll be ok, it took 4 of mine missing, before I noticed a noise.

pm me your address and full name, Ill send you one.

the only thing you should be using the rtv for , is keeping them little bastards from backing out, happenes to quite often.
