Default Clutch Disc for Centerforce DF Plate

I have a centerforce dual friction clutch in my car currently. I swapped the trans sunday and noticed the clutch disc was getting a little low on friction material. I was going to just order a disc since the pressure plate looked alright but centerforce doesn't just sell the df disc. I was wondering if anyone has used another disc with there centerforce df pressure plateplate. I need something that will last at the strip and not burn up fast from clutch drops.

I contacted centerforce and they just said "We do not recommend just replacing the clutchdisc as we can no longer warrenty our product.". Big help!

Have you looked into buying another product? I used to run FRRP clutches and Centerforce pressure plates back in the day when there was not a DF clutch on the market for street cars, but it sounds like you have issues with your clutch(s) which you are going to continue to have with the "drop" method. Basically do you want the warranty? If you do buy what Centerforce recommends you get, other than that there are a ton of mfg's that make a quality product. Will it hold up any better to the abuse? Doubt it.

Yes...it's available separately, and I replaced mine, the disc only, 3 years ago....if you don't find a supplier, LMK...have a supplier I purchase my stuff from in AZ that has them.

Zach, you can buy just the disk from JPC. Mine were seperate parts, not a kit. Give Justin a call.

I'll definitly give JPC a call. Centerforce told me they sell every disc seperate except there dual friction disc. JPC still may be able to help me out though.

I'm not worried about a warrenty. The last disc has over 100 passes on it and almost 10000 street miles, all done in less then a year.

That clutch lasted a lot longer then I expected. I've abused the hell out of it.

you want a clutch that takes abuse? center force LMC... mine has roughly 15,000 miles(prolly more)prolly 50 races, one accident (resulting in the car being totaled) and it still looks new...car has since been fixed and made it's first trip since feb. and the clutch still grabs like the way it did after breaking it in

I must have like 80,000miles on my CF DF and I certainly don't baby it. It's not ready to be replaced yet. Break it in properly and install it properly, and don't drive like an idiot and it should last a long time, but that's true for ay clutch

The clutch still grabs awesome, the disc was just getting a little worn. 6250rpm clutch drops on slicks don't help it. Plus one day I got 26 runs in at the track in less the 4 hours. Every pass had a monster burnout too. I was just looking for another disc that would take as much abuse as my centerforce df did.
