well heres the thing my car is already set up for the twisties im running like 850lbs spings and larger front sway bar strut tower brace..... so it handles like a lotus lol but it doesn't hook for ****... i just want to do something quick before going down to run. as is i cant get better than like a 2.4/2.3 60' w/ new 275/45/zr17' g force tires.... all i want right now is to get in the 8's in the 1/8th mile, my best right now is a 9.4 w/ a 2.4 60' time at 78mph so yeaanyone know of some quick things i can do to lower my short time?

some slicks and a good launch should net a 8 sec slip like you want.

I have yet to run the stang, but in my old supra I had pretty good luck with lowering the tire pressure to around 20-25psi, doing a burnout and slipping the clutch out some at 4 grand. It also helped when I ran with 3/4 of a tank of gas or more vs under a 1/4 tank, the extra weight over the rear tires helped it hook.
I was able to cut 1.9 60's on 255 falkens like that.

what is your launching technique? also are you spinning just 1 tire? your lsd could maybe use a rebuild
