I am installing an ac delete kit on my 1992 gt it is ford racing ac eliminator the one that moves power steering pump up requires smaller belt, i also would like to do away with smog pump since i am buying a new belt. anybody had any dealings with this kinda thing?

get a belt from that part store for a 5.0 with no a/c.

its not that friggin hard

measure it up with a string. just make sure that you take the tensioner into account. put some tension on it then route the string, its pretty easy and mostly fool proof

Green.. what this guy fails to realize is that the AC delete kit... just moves the PS up to where it would be if the car DIDNT have A/C stock..... so all he needs is a stock length, NON a/c belt

appreciate it green, and no adder I dont think a belt for a no ac car will work if yourtaking offthe smog pump, maybe i am wrong ,or maybe it really is "that friggin hard"
