on the bottom of one of my injectors the little cap has a crack in it. will this crack effect it at all??

Might as well replace it. You can get replacements at just about any auto parts place. Only takes a second and very inexpensive.

In most cases, if something is broke it will effect how if performs.

well when i took my 19# injectors out almost all had the same cracks and the car ran fine. i am putting 24# injectors in my new motor and saw that one was cracked on the small cap on the bottom of the injector. just curious??

replace the pintle caps... the car will run better

they help with the atomization of the fuel

replace them. youll have a hard time finding them but they are available. the dealer here said you have to buy the whole inj.i replaced all my inj. seals and caps, upper and lower intake gasket set and the car runs great.
