Is a stock GT faster than a supercharged civic.....One of my friends is convince his civic is the fastest thing in the world.

well, I guess it depends on what all has been done to his civic. Most ppl that supercharge do much more than just that to their cars, like exhaust etc. I would say that if you have a stock pre-99 GT, yea they'res a chance he could take it, but no way I see him coming close to a car that runs 14 flat in the 1/4 stock.</P>

at high *** revs he might be putting in sick *** boost though...if he knows how to launch and is pushing lotsa boost which is a huge factor in knowing who wins then im not so sure the gt can win

It would also depend what year civic and how many other mods it has. But say if it was a 99-00 Civic Si even on a stock motor it with s/c it would make it have about 191 hp and 138 lb-ft torque at the wheels, and in a car that weighs only 2560 and could go 0-60 7.5 stock.Ive seen those one videos before on kazaa where it was like a civic vs a Gt and the Gt won by about a car length or 2. It would probly be a pretty good race because I doubt that kid only has a S/c on his car.

ya, i almost guarantee hes sporting a cai with k&amp;n so it might be 15 more hp

theres a kid on another site im on that had a jackson blower on his 2000 i beleive and it was putting down 14 flat at 101 mph.....
