Problem after SN95 MC install.
hey guys I have the SN95 5 lug conversion with the SN95 rear end. I just changed out my master cylinder to an SN95 unit.
I bled the brakes thoroughly and now when i press on the brake pedal, its very very stiff when it hits the bottom. It feels like there isnt much pressure before it hits the bottom of pedal travel either. Anyone know what might cause this problem? I was thinking not enough vaccum??

RE: Problem after SN95 MC install.
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'm going to be installing my new '94 GT master cylinder this weekend and this thread brought up a couple questions...
1) How do you "bench bleed" the m/c?
2) Where are the instructions on how to determine push-rod length?
Thanks for the help!

Did you change to a 5 port prop valve or rig up the stock valve to work? The sn95 mc has 2 ports compared with the stock 3 port fox mc. When i put the 93-95 "cobra" mc, which im sure is the same as all sn95 mc's, I had to use a diff prop valve, remove the plunger to disable the proportioning effect, then add an adjustable valve in the front to rear line.
What are all your brake system mods? You have 4wd right?

I have the 3-2 Port conversion with an sn95 master cylinder. And no, I did not change the proportioning valve out to a new one, i left the stock one in there..
Im getting fed up, and Im about to just install the stock fox Master in there and call it a day.. It had better brakes with the fox mc anyways.

4 wheel disc is what i meant by 4wd. Or did you just install the newer MC with drums in the rear still?
I haven't looked into this set up too much, but I take it that you did something like this with your lines.
