95 gt rear calipers
While doing rotors and pads on my 95gt, i couldn't budge one of the pistons with a large c-clamp, to fit the caliper over the new pads. I even took the e-brake cable off and the hydraulic line off, still nothing. Then, thinking it was just that caliper, i moved on to the other side, and the same thing! Are both my calipers seized, or am i really dumb and missing something stupid? any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: 95 gt rear calipers
i think you may have to twist them in. If you look at the piston on the caliper, its a round cylinder with two notches in it. You have to twist the piston(forget which way) to get the piston to go in. You can buy a tool from the autoparts store, or try and use needle-nose pliers.
When my brother was doin brakes on his 95gt, he broke 2 c-clamps tryin to get the piston in before realizing you had to turn them in.
good luck and take your time.

RE: 95 gt rear calipers
Thanks guys, i got the tool and it worked awsome for the passenger side, but the drivers side just turns, but doesn't go in at all. I turned it a little counter-clockwise and it came out more, but stil just turns and doesn't go in. I had this caliper off, and it isn't bled yet, could this be the problem? any ideas?

RE: 95 gt rear calipers
had that problem with one of mine, turn it some, then get a c-clamp around it and squeeze it, then turn it, and squeeze. it will losen up after a while and you should be able to just turn it in. You need to get some pressure on it while your turning if that doesnt work. Keep in mind that this probably hasnt been done in at leasty 5-8 years.
