Hey all i changed the 02 sensors and the MAF and the check engine light is still coming on.. Now the light is more rare but it still comes on at low rpms (not at idle) and cruiseing on the freeway... The wierd thing is it doesnt come on and stay on it only comes on for a second and then goes away... Some times it will do this a few times then stay off... If i mess with the throttle a little bit like let off or give it more the light will stop coming on also... It only comes on at low rpms (like i said not idle) and cruising at 2000-2300 rpms (but doesnt just stay on it will blink so to speek)... What can it be???

Sometimes it will not come on at all and other times it will... For example i will take it out one time to go get something to eat and the light will not come on there and back, but then i will take it out later on and it will act as i stated above...

Other then that the car runs great and strong whether the light is on or not....

Which part the plate or the diaphram on the back of the plate???

the EGR is on the back of the TB spacer
take it off and clean it and make sure you put a new gasket on it too

How would the EGR do that though can you explane, please??? I have noticed a leek on the back off the t/b spacer could it just be the gasket??

i could be but to replace the gasket you have to take the EGR off anyways so clean it when its off

the valve works on vacuum. thats why when you adjust the throttle the light will go it. sounds like its getting stuck. take it apart and spray it will some carb cleaner

Couldn't you just run the engine codes and find out what the prob is?

Hey all thanks for the replies... So is it worth cleaning or will the cleaning evn fix it... Or should i just go get a new one???

So cleaning it will work?? i need to know for sure because like i said i have to get it smogged this afternoon... thanks again...
