seems like since i bought the car it sometimes does not always want to go into reverse but if i pull forward just a few inches or roll back a few inches it slips right in? any ideas or is this tipical because my dads friend said his 5.0 does the same exact thing
This is typical. Try another gear first. And then sometimes you will just have to inch forward a little to get it to go in--all normal stuff, I believe.
alright yeah i do both occasionally and sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, its just frustrating when theres nothing you can do about it and its going to grind..
Reverse isn't sycronized, it is normal. I go from first to reverse always and never have an issue....some times it wont go in all the way, so I hold it into reverse, slowly let out the cluch and it will slip right in.
just keep the car off an put it in reverse before u start it i have the same problem this way u dont look like a D##k an wont **** anything up grindin lol
I go into 3rd then reverse and if it doesn't go into gear, release clutch wait 2 seconds and repeat. I had trouble at first, but now it works 99% of the time.
