Default 70mm MAF $5.00

It is official,

you can take the MAF housing off a

1992-1994 4.6

Crown Victoria

Grand Marquis

Town Car, cut off the ears with a grinder and smooth the ledge some, before

installing your original sensor onto the housing without having any problems. Paid $5.00 and

got hell of performance and throttle response ! !

NEW 70MM BODY $ 5.00

OLD 55MM BODY JUNK!

there will be 4 ears with holes for 4 bolts to hold the housing, to the 4.6's airbox. Your original
housing, does not have this design.

Therefore the ears must be removed, to obtain a circular shape of the front of the housing.

good to know...I didn't look at the part about it being a 4.6. Thanks for another project! My motor is stock for now, but I am opening up the breathing right now(stubbies and O/R H going, two chamber flows already), so this seems like a good mod to do...

its an excellent mod to do, and saves you $100+

This would go great with removing throttle cable slack.
